Children's Privacy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
Sobremesa is built to help parents and guardians support language learning at home. Sobremesa is intended for use by adults, not by children creating accounts on their own.
Parent or guardian use
Parents and guardians may submit child-related learning materials so Sobremesa can create parent-friendly guides, vocabulary support, and at-home activities. By submitting child-related materials, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or that you have permission from the child's parent or legal guardian.
Information we may receive
Depending on what a parent or guardian submits, Sobremesa may receive:
- A child's grade level or age range
- Classwork or homework materials
- Vocabulary lists
- Photos or screenshots of learning materials
- Parent-provided notes about the child's learning
Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive information.
How we use child-related information
We use child-related information to:
- Create parent-friendly guides
- Explain academic concepts in plain language
- Identify useful vocabulary
- Suggest simple at-home activities
- Provide customer support
- Improve the Sobremesa service
We do not sell child-related information.
AI-assisted processing
Sobremesa may use AI-assisted tools to help create learning guides. We do not intentionally use child-related materials to train public AI models.
Deleting child-related information
Parents or guardians may request deletion of child-related information through our contact form. Please include the email address associated with the account and a brief description of the materials you want deleted.
